Arnie trumpets government energy strategy

Arnold Schwarzeneger has thrown his support behind the government energy efficiency strategy.

The actor congratulated the government for publishing its strategy last November in a video message broadcast to participants at a workshop of stakeholders in the strategy yesterday.

Sporting a skull ring the Terminator star said he was passionate about energy efficiency and understood the challenges of realising widespread change in energy usage from his time as governor of California.

“I want to let England know that if you need any help, I’ll be there,” he said.
