BBC names framework

The shortlisted engineers are White Young Green Consulting, Faber Maunsell, Jacobs Engineering, Ove Arup & Partners.

• The QSs: Currie & Brown, Gardiner & Theobald, Northcrofts and Cyril Sweett.
• Architects: Building Design Partnership, Atkins, TP Bennett and Capita Symonds.
• project management and planning supervision: Turner & Townsend, Dearle & Henderson, Hornagold and Hills and Capita Symonds.

A further eight companies have been invited to tender for "building works and services" for construction projects. The winners of these framework agreements will be announced in May 2006.

The £200m four-year deal across the BBC's entire UK estate covers small and medium-sized projects and M&E services.

The results will be announced in April.
