Junckers’ SylvaSport Premium beech flooring panels were chosen for the Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff.

More than 1,400m2 of the product was specified for the building, which is registered as an official Olympic Training Camp for the 2012 Games. The operation manager, Nick Lia, said that the flooring was picked because it had been specified elsewhere in the building and they were happy with the quality.

SylvaSport is made from solid hardwood and are available in 22mm thick, 3,700mm long and 129mm wide sections. It is PEFC-certified beech from sustainable woodlands and is prefinished with several coats of pure polyurethane lacquer.
