Liquidators for building company go to court over £100k outstanding payment

Bournemouth building company Britannia Contracting Services, in liquidation, has launched a legal battle against property developers Wimbledon Heritage House LLP.

Britannia carried out building work on Heritage House in Inner Park Road, Wimbledon, for the company last year, but says it has not been paid in full and that a total of £144,445.42 remains outstanding.

Despite requests for repayment, in breach of contract Wimbledon has failed to pay the money due, according to a High Court writ.

Now Britannia’s liquidators are seeking payment of the money, as well as interest of £15,132.67 and continuing interest of £49.47.
