Building's editor Adrian Barrick was named business magazine editor of the year at the British Society of Magazine Editors awards on Monday.
At an awards ceremony at London’s Hilton Hotel, Barrick was chosen from a shortlist that included the editors of PR Week and Doctor.
The judges said Building has had “one of its most successful years ever”. They were impressed by the magazine’s “blend of authority, confidence, campaigning vigour and relevance”. One judge commented that Building “got under the skin of the industry”.
