The Logic Code Combi recovers heat from the flue to preheat direct hot water
Ideal has launched a combination boiler called the Logic Code Combi, which it says is the first all-in-one product that passively recovers heat from the flue to preheat direct hot water. The boiler has the same SEDBUK rating for boiler efficiency at 89% as this does not take into account the hot water performance but will help with compliance with Part L. When the boiler performance is factored into domestic Part L calculation tool SAP, it reduces a typical home’s dwelling emission rate by over 4%. The boiler is available in outputs of 26kW, 33kW and 38kW and comes as a complete package including system connections, filling loop and automatic bypass. Weather compensation controls are available as an option.
