Advanced work to be divided into five lots

Crossrail has advertised £95m worth of advanced works for its five central London stations.

The jobs are divided into five lots with bidders able to opt for either a single lot and / or lots 1 and 2 combined and / or lots 4 and 5 combined.

Lot 1 Bond Street (£20m) – Installation of piles, diaphragm walling and shaft construction.

Lot 2 Tottenham Court Road (£10m) – Construction of piles, diaphragm walling and shaft construction

Lot 3 Farringdon (£15m) - Construction of piles and a segmental shaft

Lot 4 Liverpool Street (£30m) - Construction of the Moorgate shaft

Lot 5 Whitechapel (£20m) – Construction of shaft

Lots 1 and 2 are set to take 12 months to complete, while lots 3 and 5 will take 16 months. Lot 4, the construction of a shaft in the City of London, is expected to take 33 months.

Interested parties have until 7 April to submit requests to participate.
