Consultant responds to growing international demand by setting up 'hubs' in Dubai, Paris and New Jersey

Consultant Currie & Brown is reorganising its PPP services in response to growing international demand.

The firm said global PPP activities would be managed from “hubs” in Dubai, Paris and New Jersey to better tackle markets in the Middle East, India, Latin America and Continental Europe.

Arrangements for the UK remain unchanged.

Chief executive Euan McEwan said: “The UK can lay claim to be the home of PPP, having originally embraced the Private Finance Initiative as a means of procuring major public projects in partnership with the private sector.

“The method of procurement has changed in line with new thinking at government level, but the principles have been adopted in many key regions, including Europe, the Americas, Middle East and India.

“We have to maintain and build upon our competitive position in each of these markets, having established a strong and sustainable record as the adviser of choice to many government and private-sector operators.”
