An adjudictator's decision goes to the High Court for enforcement

East Midland Contracting is suing Enterprise Managed Solutions in a £1.1m dispute over a construction contract.

After the dispute arose, an adjudicator was called in, and in September he awarded East Midland damages of £1,131,668.29, and his fees of £20,449.41, according to a writ issued in London’s High Court.

But in breach of contract, no payment has been received, the writ says. Now East Midland, based in Lincoln, is asking the court to enforce the adjudication against Enterprise, formerly Enterprise Utility Services, based in Leyland, and to make it into a court order.
