Ecophon has launched a ceiling surface system offering a white, smooth surface and professional acoustic performance. Akutex Frost has been designed to give interior designers and architects a wider choice of options.
It is available in two formats: Focus Frost Ds (concealed grid); and Focus Frost Dg (semi-concealed grid). The Ds option has a concealed grid with symmetrical edge detail for an unbroken white surface. This means standard components can be used rather than special offset light fitting or ventilation grills.
The Dg option features a floating tile appearance and provides a narrow but distinct gap between the tiles, its edge design hiding the supporting ridge.
Akutex Frost can be demounted easily and can be installed in shallow spaces.
