Design and build off-site components sought for nine primary schools

The Education Funding Agency has gone out to market for a contractor to design and build off-site components for a batch of nine primary schools through a sole supplier framework.

The project has a total value of £95m and could lead to more work on other primary and secondary school blocks.

Contractors who make it through prequalification will be invited to tender in October.

Two more contractors will be selected as reserve contractors on the framework.
