English Partnerships has selected 22 developers to help pilot its strategy over brownfield sites.

The companies will be offered the opportunity to bid to develop sites within 14 local authorities that have agreed to work with EP.

A spokesperson said the projects would provide models for the strategy, due to be published next year. The agency has chosen a mix of rural and urban authorities.

The developers include national and regional housebuilders, specialist regeneration developers, commercial property firm British Land and the Places for People housing association.

The others are Amec Developments, Bellway Homes, Countryside Northern, Crest Nicholson, the David Taylor Partnership, Geoffrey Osborne, George Wimpey, Keepmoat, Kier Residential, Leadbitter, LPC Living, Redrow, Rosemullion, St James Securities, St Pauls, Taylor Woodrow Developments, Urban Splash, Westbury Homes and Wilson Bowden.
