Steelwork firm set to welcome new boss Paul McNerney next month
Severfield’s boardroom shake-up is continuing with its finance boss leaving at the end of next month.
Adam Semple will step down from his role as chief financial officer after almost eight years in the position.
In a statement to the City, the steelwork firm said: “The process to appoint his successor is underway and, whilst the search is conducted, interim arrangements are being finalised. A further announcement will be made in due course.”

Over the summer, Severfield said its new chief executive will be Paul McNerney, who will arrive after more than 25 years at Laing O’Rourke.
No official date has been given for when he starts although Building understands this will be at the start of next month.
McNerney is replacing Alan Dunsmore who left earlier this year after 15 years at the business.
Severfield will announce its interim results for the six months to 27 September on 25 November.
