About 350m of Avanti’s Solare partitioning system have been installed at the £30m library and student support services at Canterbury Christ Church University

Avanti says Solare 60/60 is one of the highest fire-specification, fully glazed, dry-jointed relocatable partitioning systems available. It has been successfully tested at an overall height of 3m for 60-minute integrity and 60-minute insulation, which the company says sets an industry standard. The 60-minute integrity rating means that that the glass partitioning should withstand collapse in a fire. The application of 60-minute insulation provides for additional safety to the non-fire side of the partitioning and caps the temperature at 180ºC above ambient.
