Flat feat: Cartwright Pickard Architects has unveiled plans for a five-storey apartment scheme on the corner of Princess Street and George Street in the heart of Manchester. The apartments will vary in size from 600 to 1200 ft2 and will include five penthouses. The building’s original warehouse facades will be retained and refurbished. Client is the Urban Edge Group, quantity surveyor is Simon Fenton Partnership and structural and services engineer is Buro Happold. Cartwright Pickard is also working on an £18m 200-home scheme for Peabody Trust in east London.
