The Federation of Master Builders has expelled a loft conversion firm for bringing the organisation into disrepute.
Surrey-based Fernside Loft Conversion Specialists has been expelled following an FMB investigation into complaints from clients over unsatisfactory and incomplete work carried out by the firm.
Laura Hayes, FMB London regional director, said: "The FMB operates a rigorous consumer complaints procedure and the conduct of this firm was well below the standards expected of an FMB member."
The FMB has advised the Trading Standards Office of its decision.
