The Foreign Office this week signed 15 framework agreements with 13 consultants for its £1bn property portfolio.
The deals, all for five years, are for project management, architectural, structural and civil engineering, building and quantity surveying services.

The agreements will give the department access to more than 10,000 design and construction specialists in 200 locations around the world.

Services chief executive Stephen Sage said: "By using long-term agreements … we will be better equipped to service the needs of our global estate."

The consultants selected are: Building Services Group; Donald Smith, Seymour & Rooley; Gleeds; GMW; Hoare Lea; HOK International; Jordan + Bateman Architects; Monro White Hilton & Partners; Norman + Dawbarn; Northcroft; Arup; Ridge & Partners and TPS Consult.
