Marcus Bergstrom and Joe Nunn win student vote following design competition

Two Royal College of Art former students have redesigned Artbar at the postgraduate art and design college in London.

Marcus Bergstrom and Joe Nunn, who graduated from the school in 2005, won the project after current students voted on their design following a competition that was sent out to all Alumni.

With a budget of £18,000, they stripped the 96m² area creating three units clad in gloss white ply which hide all the entertainments units and bar.

They have since been appointed to redesign the adjacent cafe over the winter.

The Artbar opens on 24 of September to coincide with Close Up exhibition.
