Penoyre & Prasad Architects, Edward Cullinan Architects, van Heyningen and Haward Architects and Eger Architects are due to submit designs for the scheme next February. They were shortlisted from 43 entrants.

The competition is being run by design watchdog CABE and local health body the South East London Shared Service Partnership for Lewisham Primary Care Trust.

  • The RIBA has launched two design competitions: a £10m scheme to redevelop the Geoffrey Chaucer Technology College in Southwark, south London, and the redesign of St Peter's Square and Mersey Square in Stockport.
