Solihull Retirement Village

Galliford Try has begun work on a £47m residential retirement complex in Solihull.

The contractor’s partnerships business will build 261 apartments across a maximum of 12 storeys for the ExtraCare Charitable Trust (ECCT), which is working in partnership with Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.

Completion of the Solihull Retirement Village (pictured) is expected in late 2020.

The £47m deal represents the eleventh retirement village constructed by Galliford Try Partnerships on behalf of ECCT.

The scheme will provide homes to local people aged 55 and over.
