Consultant set to leave historic Bloomsbury home in 2029

Gardiner & Theobald has signed up to move into new offices in the City of London from 2029, the firm has said.

The consultant will move out of its Bloomsbury office at South Crescent, where it has been based since 2010, and into 30 Finsbury Square from autumn 2029.

It is taking three and a half floors – amounting to 55,000sq ft – at the office which is being redeveloped by Collins Construction under a £60m deal. Architect on the scheme is Eric Parry.

G&T said: “The decision follows a review of G&T’s future workplace requirements and a search for a new office to support the firm’s continued growth and evolving ways of working.

“The new office will provide G&T with a high-quality, flexible workplace designed to support collaboration, client engagement and the changing needs of the firm.”

Managing partner Adam Glover added: “We wanted to find a workplace that would support the business over the long term – somewhere that works for our people, provides an excellent environment for our clients and gives us the flexibility to respond to how the firm continues to develop.”

Collins due to finish work on the nine-storey block next summer with G&T’s lease beginning the following year.

G&T, which has had a base in Bloomsbury since the 1830s, employs around 1,550 people across the world with its London office its biggest site.
