As Copenhagen gets under way, a visualisation by World Green Building Council shows steps taken internationally to reduce the impact of buildings
The environmental performance of the construction industry is likely to be under renewed scrutiny the the wake of the Copenhagen climate change this month.
In a bid to outline the problem and potential solutions the World Green Building Council has released data showing how much impact construction has globally and within certain leading developed and developing countries.
The data also points a way to how green buildings can reduce energy use in countries such as the US, China and the UK.
The data below is based on a report, Six Continents, One Mission released by the World Green Building Council last month.
