Tensar International has launched TriAx Geogrid, a ground stabilisation mesh that is suitable for applications such as unpaved and permament paved roads, as well as differential settlement on weak or variable sub-grades.
Unlike similar products that use a mesh formed of squares or rectangles, the TriAx mesh is made up of equilateral triangles. The company says independent trials have shown that this form is both stiffer and better for aggregate confinement, which leads to greater loadbearing capacity.
