We read last month that you have just been listed on the Alternative Industry Market, but many of our readers might not know much about you. What type of housing do you specialise in?
>> Oakdene Homes specialises in building homes and refurbishing residential property in Surrey, East and West Sussex, Kent and the greater London boroughs.

Okay, but what are the finances like?
>> We have increased profit every year since our incorporation in 1998 and doubled our pre-tax profit in each of the last three financial years. In the year ended 31 December 2003 Oakdene turned in a record level of turnover of £11.97m and posted a pre-tax profit of £3.01m.

What are your major projects?
>> Brighton Road, Newhaven, East Sussex, 103 units - apartments, terraced and detached houses; Randalls Road, Leatherhead, Surrey – 20 apartments; Pampisford Road, Croydon – 14 houses; King Henry's Drive, Lewes, East Sussex – eight apartments and six houses; Alma Road, Reigate, Surrey – six luxury apartments.

What differentiates you from your rivals?
>> We pride ourselves on the individual design of each of our developments so that they suit the local environment and the lifestyle expectations of the likely purchasers.
