The consultant will carry out construction management work for the US army corps of engineers

Consultant Hill International has been appointed to carry out construction management work on the Iraq reconstruction programme.

The consultant will carry out approximately £12m worth of work for the US army corps of engineers in the war-torn country. The contracts were issued by Stanley Baker Hill, a joint venture involving Hill, which has a framework contract with the US army corps of engineers.

Hans Van Winkle, president of Hill’s project management group for the Americas, said: “Hill is honoured to be involved in assisting the Corps in managing the Iraq Reconstruction Programme. The expanding role of Stanley Baker Hill is evidence of the outstanding performance of our joint venture’s team on this critical programme.”
