The Scottish parliament building, designed by EMBT and RMJM, has won the RIAS’ Andrew Doolan Award for Architecture, given to the best building in Scotland.



MBT and RMJM were presented with a cheque for £25,000 by RIAS president Douglas Read, who said: “There is no part of this building that has not been consciously designed, everything has been considered. It is a magnificent achievement and the design team deserve our fullest congratulations.”
