Relive Tuesday night’s awards with pictures from the event
More than 1,000 guests packed into the Grosvenor House hotel on London’s Park Lane for the 2025 Building Awards.
Major winners include Multiplex for Major Contractor of the Year, Turner & Townsend for Consultant of the Year (over 100 staff), Plan A Consultants for Good Employer of the Year and Katy Dowding, chief executive and president of Skanska UK, who claimed the title of CEO of the Year.
The event was hosted by comedian Dara Ó Briain.
Other winners included Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, Aecom, Quartz Project Services and Kori Construction.

In her acceptance speech Dowding said: “This industry is the backbone of our country. It’s where dreams take shape in steel and concrete, where communities are built, and futures are forged. We employ millions of skilled, dedicated people who pour their heart and soul into every project.
“We are more than builders; we create the spaces where life unfolds – homes where families grow, roads that connect us, hospitals that heal, schools that inspire, offices that innovate, and bridges that unite.
“This is the stuff that really matters. Without construction, there is no foundation for progress.”
