Dr Phil Nolan also chairs renewable energy generator Infinis

Public sector infrastructure specialist John Laing has appointed Dr Phil Nolan as an independent non-executive chairman.

Nolan is currently chairman of renewable energy generator Infinis and Sepura, suppliers of Tetra radios.

He was previously chief executive officer of Eircom, Ireland's national telecommunications supplier.
