KEITH CAREY, former business development director at Laing Partnership Housing, the specialist social housing arm of contractor Laing, has been appointed director of regeneration for HTA Architects.
Carey is an acknowledged specialist in PFI for urban regeneration and in neighbourhood renewal. A spokesperson for HTA said Carey reflected the practice's view that a range of multidisciplinary experience and skills was needed to deliver successful urban regeneration projects. "Carey's experience of putting together complex regeneration projects, his understanding of funding and procurement, and his extensive contacts will be a vital complement to HTA's capacity," said the spokesperson.
