Product supplier returns round £5.8m loss and reveals £700,000 spend on Abu Dhabi factory

Construction product supplier Low & Bonar has reported a profit of £7.9m on revenues of £155.8m for the last six months.

The results are a turnaround from the same period last year, when the company made a £5.8m loss.

It said the results were “solid step towards delivering both our medium term financial targets and building further shareholder value.”

The firm spent £700k in the period setting up a new factory in Abu Dhabi to produce materials for the civil engineering, construction, industrial and architecture sectors.
