Mace Construct has announced it will be known as Forco when it launches its new name in January next year.

Mace Construct and Mace Consult became two separate businesses in March, with the agreement that Mace Consult would retain the Mace brand.

In a statement, Forco said: “The name is short, impactful and easy to pronounce. It builds on the business’s 35-year track record of driving progress and signals its intent to shape the future of construction through automation, industrialisation and digital delivery.”

The name was launched at an event at the Odeon cinema in London’s Leicester Square this morning with Mark Reynolds, who will become chairman and chief executive of the business from January, saying that he wants the firm to become a £3bn turnover contractor in the long term. In its last set of results, the firm posted revenue of £2.3bn in 2025 but this is expected to fall to £1.75bn this year.

Until January, the business will continue to trade as Mace Construct with the Forco name replacing the old Mace name on site hoardings by the end of January.

The full visual identity, a new website and a new corporate strategy will all launch in January, the firm added.

Reynolds said: “Our new name represents our clear commitment to being the UK’s most forward-thinking contractor, and its most productive by 2030. Forco’s logo and symbol will be visible from a distance on a hard hat or a site hoarding and will form part of a focused and distinctive new brand launching early next year.”
