Architect Make has submitted plans for the redevelopment of the Ring's Reach Tower on the South Bank.

Architect Make's scheme to redevelop a tower in Southwark, south London, has been this week submitted for planning.

The project will remodel and redevelop the King's Reach tower, on Stamford Street just south of the Thames, presently occupied by publishing firm IPC. Developer Capital & Counties plans to turn the office block into an office, retail and housing complex.

The 30-storey tower, situated just next to the Oxo Tower and just east of the South Bank centre, will be reclad and the surrounding buildings demolished and replaced with new blocks.

Capital & Counties managing director John Saggers said: "We are very excited about the proposals for King's Reach - one of the most desirable locations along the Thames."
