Consultant appoints director and associate director for its new Leeds office

Consultant McBains Cooper has appointed David Dodd director and Michael Richards associate director at McBains Cooper’s new office in Leeds.

The opening of the Leeds office is part of the firm’s aim to expand in the regional northern markets.

Dodd will focus on opportunities in and around the Yorkshire and Humber regions.

He has worked in both consultancy and contracting in a diverse range of roles and sectors including three years working in the nuclear sector and five years within the Amec Group’s Corporate Review Team.

Richards has worked in the north in several sectors over a number of years. The early part of his career was spent in the petrochemical and utilities industries with Turner & Townsend, Faithful & Gould and Sembcorp.

More recently Richards has been involved in the financial services sector, both in a QS and development monitoring capacity, including working on four major call centre refurbishments.

He is currently engaged on the Shiregreen affordable housing scheme.
