Housebuilder's turnover hit £1.2bn in 2006 as strong profits are reported in all three businesses

Housebuilder and property developer Miller Group has announced a 34% increase in turnover from 2005.

In a statement issued ahead of its final results for the year to December 2006, the company reported a turnover of £1.2bn compared to £893m in 2005. The group also announced strong profits with all three businesses performing ahead of the 2005 level.

Group chief executive Keith Miller, said: “The group produced an excellent performance in 2006 with all three businesses improving on the previous year."

"The housing result includes a full year’s contribution from the Fairclough business where our team successfully delivered significant volume growth and cost synergies.”
