Masterplan drawn up by Chapman Taylor

Plans by London residential developer Mount Anvil and Peabody-owned housing association Catalyst to build nearly an extra 250 homes at a scheme in west London have been given the green light.

The Friary Park scheme in Acton was given the OK back in 2019 for just over 1,200 homes but updated proposals have now included a further 238 homes, half of which will be affordable.

The scheme will now include nearly 1,500 homes

The first affordable homes are due to complete early next year with private for sale homes expected to be delivered in spring 2024.

The scheme will include commercial space, of which 40% will be affordable with part aimed at local businesses.

Firms working on the scheme include masterplan architect Chapman Taylor, structural engineer Patrick Parsons and M&E engineer Aecom. West London architect Tigg & Coll is also working on the deal.
