Two additions to the London skyline were topped out this week. The 210 m, 44-storey towers at Canary Wharf in London Docklands are to become the headquarters of the HSBC and Citigroup banks when they open next February.
Developer for both schemes is Canary Wharf Group. Foster and Partners designed the HSBC tower. Arup is the structural and M&E engineer. Canary Wharf Contractors is the construction manager and principal contractor. Concept architect on the Citigroup tower was Cesar Pelli & Associates and the design architect was Adamson Associates. Structural engineer is Yolles Partnership.
