Housebuilder says it has drawn up designs in consultation with housing associations

Space4, the prefabricated house division of Persimmon, is launching a new range of standard homes.

Perismmon said the design for the new homes was drawn up in consultation with housing associations and will provide a more efficient format for supplying homes to social housing providers.

The news came in a statement to the London Stock Exchange this morning in which the housebuilder said it estimated that it would secure planning consents for about 30,000 plots of land over the next three years representing an £1bn investment. It estimates the plots will generate revenues of £6bn when developed.

On the housing market, Persimmon said it remains competitive and use of selective incentives to increase sales continued.
