Work will include revamping Stanley airport and other infrastructure projects

Ramboll UK has won the contract to provide upgrades to Stanley airport on the Falkland Islands and work on a number of other projects including new port facitilies and the RAF base at Mount Pleasant.

The Falkland’s government said Ramboll had been chosen as the single supplier professional services framework contract and subject to contracts being signed would start work this month.

A small technical and professional team from Ramboll will move to Stanley, the islands’ capital, where it will coordinate a range of specialist services to deliver the various projects.
