Designer Wayne Hemingway designs folding bicycle for housebuilders to offer first-time buyers

Designer Wayne Hemingway has designed a folding bicycle that housebuilders can offer first-time buyers.

He is offering the Roadrunner to housebuilders for £55 in the hope they will give them away as incentives to buy homes. Hemingway, a patron of sustainable transport body Sustrans, said giving away the bikes would contribute to sustainable travel plans and earn housebuilders a point towards the Code for Sustainable Homes. The housebuilders’ company logo can be added to the frame.
