Supermarket giant Tesco is to invest £150m in 10 mixed-use regeneration schemes across London.
The projects will include supermarkets and housing. The location of the first is expected to be revealed next month, with a further two schemes to be announced over the next few months.

It is understood that most of the projects will be new build, although existing stores may be refurbished.

The London plan follows a £250m spend on regeneration and training projects across the country. Tesco has previously built housing on two of its stores in west London.

A Tesco spokeswoman said: "Each scheme is tailored to the area. We work in partnership with local boroughs and the public sector and wanted to wait until the Greater London Authority had settled down before doing a scheme in London."
