Schueco UK has launched a thin film solar module called ProSol TF.

Thin film cells have the advantage over conventional PV panels of performing well in diffuse light conditions and at high temperatures. ProSol TF can be supplied for incorporation into double or triple-glazed units or as a standalone lean to facade package suitable for retrofitting to existing buildings. Each module measures 5.72m2 and is fixed using four attachment points. The system can also be supplied for fitting over flat roofs.
