Housebuilder Linden Homes has beefed up its management team with the appointment of three directors.
David Tilman has been appointed group finance director, replacing Lou Jovic who retired last month. Tilman was previously finance director at building materials firms Meyer International and Caradon, and has held the post at metal manufacturer AM&S Europe.

Tony Burton has been promoted to chairman of the housebuilder’s South and South-west divisions. He has been the group’s land director since February last year.

Gerard Price has become chairman of the South-east and Chiltern divisions. He will also be responsible for developing the company’s marketing and branding strategies.

Linden Homes chief executive Philip Davies said: “These appointments serve to underline the strength of the senior executive team we have at Linden Homes. Each of the directors has a keen eye for detail, which is an essential skill in our customer driven company.”

Linden Homes has a turnover approaching £145m and builds about 770 homes a year.
