Yorkshire men arrested on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence

Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a piling driver on a construction site in Holmfirth, Yorkshire last year.

West Yorkshire police confirmed they have arrested two men on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence, as well as perverting the course of justice and other safety infringements.

Mark James Taylor, 36, from Leeming Bar, died while using a piling driving machine on a construction site on April 18 last year, the Huddersfield Daily Examiner reported.

The identities of the arrested men have not been given. They have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
