Birmingham consultant Vining Management has bought 12-strong French arm of Citex, the last remaining part of the former QS.
In February, former chief executive David Bucknall acquired the UK operations of Citex Project Services after it was placed in administration, but declined to take on the French division.

Vining has bought the arm, which has offices in Paris and Lyon, for an undisclosed sum.

Mike Vining, managing director of the consultant, said: “The inclusion of Citex France within the group strengthens our service in one of the most relevant locations to Europe-wide business.”

Citex France will trade as Vining Citex, then will be renamed Vining Management SARL in August.

Vining was established in the mid-1990s. Clients include Deutsche Bank Real Estate, Unite and Munich Reinsurance.
