Willmott Dixon will begin work next month on a £20m deal to upgrade part of the Liverpool John Moores University campus.

The firm will carry out work to refurbish and extend the Tithebarn Building – home to the School of Nursing and Allied Health – and overhaul the Avril Robarts Library in the middle of the city.

The extension at the Tithebarn Building (pictured) will be completed next September with the entire scheme due to be finished the following March. Work on the library will be finished at the end of next year.

The work was won under Scape’s National Major Works framework.
