Consortium including Willmott Dixon wins £18m LIFT contract and achieves preferred bidder stage on a further two.

Building Better Health, a consortium that includes the construction division of Willmott Dixon, is set to begin work on healthcare projects worth £60m under the Local Improvement Finance Trust programme.

The consortium has reached financial close with West London Primary Care Trusts for the design and build of two healthcare facilities in west London, worth a total of £18m.

The Thelma Golding Health Centre in Hounslow and a new GP’s surgery in Acton will be built by the new LIFT company created by the consortium and the primary care trust. Building Better Health is also at preferred bidder stage on another two LIFT schemes, expected to reach financial close in the near future.
