Turkish practice wins competition to design 33,000 m2 arts venue

Teget, a young architectural practice from Turkey, has won a competition to design an opera house in Izmir, the country’s third largest city situated on the Aegean coast.

The client Izmir Metropolitan Municipality commissioned the design for a 33,064 m2 opera house.

Adams Kara Taylor is the structural engineer.
