Building materials giant Wolseley has warned the City that the recent bad weather in the UK was having "an adverse impact on major siteworks"
At its annual meeting last Friday, executive chairman Richard Ireland said he expected the "unhelpful" conditions on building sites to continue up to January.
But he also said that overall market prospects remained good, saying: "In group terms, the effect on profits is not material."
