Ole Scheeren’s 268m tall tower will have three cubic ‘floating’ shafts

Architect and former OMA partner Ole Scheeren has revealed plans for a 268m tall tower in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for local developer Sunrise Berhad. Angkasa Raya will be built beside the Petronas Towers, once the tallest in the world. The tower will have three cubic shafts “floating” above an open horizontal podium. It will incorporate residential, leisure and offices and construction is scheduled to begin next year.
