The Business Design Centre Group has selected United House as its joint-venture partner for a £130m mixed-use development in north London.

City North Islington will feature two 21-storey towers designed by Benson & Forsyth and will be built on the site of a trading estate next to Finsbury Park mainline and Underground station.

It will include 308 private apartments and 47 affordable homes, as well as some 116,000 ft2 of retail, restaurant, leisure and office space.

Jack Morris, chairman of City North Islington Holdings and the Business Design Centre Group said the project would “bring much-needed new homes, business investment employment and economic growth” to the area.

United House will act as joint developer and contractor for the project.
